historiated:

Folio depicting an anatomical man (a man and the zodiac) from the Très Riches Heures du Duc de Berry by the Limbourg Brothers, c. 1411-16. Image taken from ARTstor.

Today I discovered that I don’t really know any zodiac symbols by heart other than the most obvious ones (leo the lion, scorpio the scorpion, etc). I don’t really know how this is possible with all of the classes I’ve taken on medieval magic and science, but there you have it.
